Makerspace has a Formlabs Form 1 3d resin printer, which can be tricky and delicate to use. Jeff runs two printers for production that are very similar to the Formlabs machine, and has done a good deal of testing to get them to print as well as they can.

This 2.5 hour class, with 30 minute social period afterwards, will cover operation of the printer, basic maintenance, appropriate materials, general guidelines for file creation, post processing, and some troubleshooting. An informal 30 minute discussion and question period with pizza supplied will follow.

The class will be July 17, 2019, starting at 7pm, in the Makerspace classroom .

The fee for this class is $20. This includes printed material, as well as sample 3d printed parts to take home and pizza at the event. The class size is being limited to 20 people, to keep it personal and give everyone time to interact.
