You don't have to register, just come on down and we'll eat some burgers and fix up some tools.
Some of the key tasks will be:
Cook some burgers (and veggie burgers) and eat them.
Clean up, sharpen, and otherwise restore the large collection of hand tools that myself and other members have gotten for the space.
Find a place to mount and hang the new hand tool storage cabinet for the woodshop and get it up on the wall. Also fill it with restored tools
with any remaining time or volunteer energy, put some work towards preparing the new hand-tool workbench.
If you have any sharpening equipment (such as your own diamond plates) or their own snacks to share, please feel encouraged to bring them but there are no requirements!
Folks are also welcome to bring their own tools to work on, but I'll be focusing most of my efforts of getting the tools that are for the Makerspace.
Burgers, vegetarian options, and hand tools to restore will be provided.
