There will be a work party on Sunday, starting at 10am, to assemble the remainder of the wall and desktop office furniture we received from the Tech Park in 2023. When we’re done we’ll have a work area that is a mirror image of the laser work area. The 3 stand alone desks that currently reside in this area will be freed up by this effort.
We will also be moving the revered Vortex of Doom. It will take up a more prominent space against the wall, likely using one of the 3 shelf wire rack units. I expect all this work can be done in 2-3 hours.
Ideally, 3 members will come out to help. If you haven’t yet volunteered at Makerspace here’s a great opportunity to give back to the space and have some fun with fellow members. No experience is necessary.
Of course, lunch and snacks will be provided !
